9 second cars must have xyz, and you, don't. Im guessing he doesn't have a roll cage since its a daily driver, and all 9 seconds have to have a roll cage I think...

either way, how does your clutch like those ebrake stands?

What did you get disqualified for?

I'm not Licensed to go 9.99 and quicker yet, need a full fire suit, NHRA license, window net, ect ect. That will all soon be done shortly.

I was using the nitrous for spool up, nitrous would come on out of the hole and each time I shifted to take the lag out of the shifts, the nitrous shuts off at 6500rpm, so it's only on for a brief period of time, enough to take the lag out of the shifts.

Umm, it has a cage in it, infact a 8 point cage is in it right now, has been for about 3 years now. Allso I have a twin disc clutch, so the clutch does not mind it at all. Works very well pre-loading the drivetrain.
I figured you could see the cage in the incar video, that is where the cam is mounted, on the cross bar of the main hoop.

The car had everything needed to run 10.00, so I was legal to that ET. Just not 9.99 and quicker.

Yeah that viper is badass, it was supercharged with standalone ect ect. It runs 11.0's at @124-126mph.

care to elaborate what you do to get such good launches? like, this is what I think you do, correct me if Im wrong:

put it in first gear, rev it up to 5k with the ebrake held down, hold it there. Slip the clutch out and keep it at 5k to build some boost, then give it an extra pump right before the light turns green, then drop the ebrake and slip the clutch out the rest of the way.

thats what it looks like you do in the video anyways. What kind of boost off the line do you see with that launch? I know thats a BIG turbo, but still interested.

Basically you nailed it right on the head, I build about 10lbs on the 2step and once I let the brake down and roll the 1st 5ft it builds another 15lbs, then WAM! it just takes off. Every car is different, different setups, tune, turbos, ect ect. You just have to find that happy medium for what the car likes. Trial and Error.

Thanks man, but as I stated before I did not get booted for the cage deal, I have had a cage in the car for over 3 years now it's a 8 point full cage, if that were the case I would have been booted at 11.49 and quicker for not having a cage.
I got booted for not having a NHRA license, window net, chassis cert. full fire suit ect ect. The car was legal to 10.00 with all the saftey equipment done to it.

Most of the mods are listed at the end of the video. It has a JMfabrication sheetmetal intake manifold allready, and ported heads? you mean ported head? We allready did 480whp on pump gas all boost alone with 21lbs. The dyno video is floating around somwhere, just do a search so you can see what the numbers it did on pump gas, race gas, race gas and nitrous. That was on a different setup as well. I have alittle bigger turbo now since the dyno video with a direct port nitrous setup instead of the singal fogger 50 shot in the dyno video.

The throttle body that I have is a 75mm mustang throttle body.
