well its clutch time again. Looking at either the ACT 2900 or Fidanza 4.3. botch hold around the same torque. havent really heard much about fidanza clutches, kinda wondering if anybody has any experience with them.. thanks

I recently went from ACT 2600 to Fidanza 4.3. ACT make great clutches. I don't about the 2900 but the 2600 came with shitty parts, i.e. throw-out-bearing that cannot handle what the 2600 is made for. So after my 2600 crap out on me I went in search of another ACT or any manufactures.

This may better your perception on Fidanza;

PRI 2006 - StreetFire.net does a technical interview about how clutches work with Fidanza. - Video.

Another thing, there is a huge difference with the clutch pedal pressure. The Fidanza is much lighter, the 4.3 is similar to the 2200.

I run an ACT 2600 PP, act 4 puck sprung ceramic disc, OEM TOB and fidanza flywheel. The problem most people have with ACT's are the TOB's and the street disc made of organic material. Just get something made of ceramic it will last a lot longer.

i wish i could afford the twin disc setup now, but my car is down and id like to get it up and running solid, then this summer hopefully with my new job i will be able to get the twin disc.. among other goodies! so im considering the fidanza or the Competition clutch... thanks for everyones help

very helpfull thread, wish it came up when i searched, LOL. looks like im going to get the 4.3 setup. thanks again for everybodys help

unfortunatly thats the one i have in there right now with a collapsed pressure plate. and instead of just buying a 2900, i wanted to explore my options and see what else there is.
