Welp, Im pretty new at dsmlink but I have gotten my car running pretty decent idle/cruise tune. (idle is really sketch) Was just going to post it up and see if anyone could give me some advice. I was cruising between 2-3k rpms through all gears with stft hovering around 0% -/+ 5%. The ending ltft mid ended up being 1.6% but the ltftlo is dogshit at like 8% if i member correct (check log to verify). To get the fuel trims I did I basically just set the globals to -58/495 (what others had luck with on these fics) and used the MafComp 50 and 150 sliders to get where I needed to be cruising.

Thanks and appreciate any advice I can get from you guys!

Are you running v2? If you average your entire log it shows that your LTFT LO is at 10.5% your mid is at 1.6 like you said.

The reason I ask what version your running is because v3 practically adjusts this for you. Just wondering what the problem was.

Im running v2, just wondering if there are some settings wrong or whats the deal with the idle fuel trims? Also is changing the 50 and 150 hertz sliders on the maf comp tab the correct way to be adjusting at cruising/idle?

Thanks and appreciate the help!

Can you log MAF in a cruise log and post it up along with your Fuel trims? That should help.

When I run the MAFCompAdj it tells me that your 50hz slider needs to be close to 39.8%. Now that doesn't mean you need to adjust it to 39.8%, because you still need to blend in the transitions, but it is telling me to increase that slider by a good bit. Hope that helps.

I also forgot to mention.... Try this link out and watch the video.

I know its mostly about v3 but it will help you understand the program and give several points on setting it up. Also, your log is only like 40 seconds long. When you do a cruise log and your getting your fuel trims in check, you really need to go driving for at least 10 minutes and log the entire time your at cruise. This gives you more data to make adjustments from. The reason I mention it is because me telling you the 39% adjustment may be way off, but thats all I can tell from your log because it is just too short. Watch the video and follow any and all tips he gives you including locking in your closed loop operation. :thumb:
