I posted a week or so ago about a problem I had where the car all of the sudden seemed like it wanted to shut off and come back on, the ABS light flickered and the stereo came on and off and you could hear a clicking sound. Shuting of the car and restarting cured the problem for the time being.

At first I thought it was because I had to clutch safety switch unplugged and accidently turned the key while driving so I plugged it back in but it happened again yesterday.

The ignition seeme to be a little lose between the on and start positions and my key was very worn so I had a new one made which fits a little tighter. Could this problem be caused because of the worn key or is the ignition cylinder going out on me? Thanx for any help, it is appreciated.

also check to make sure your ignition switch wiring connecter is plugged in and not just hanging on that could be a cause of the problem also while the car is running take and wiggle the wires coming out of the ignition switch you could have a bad wire that is breaking contact :laser:

Thanx guys, come to think of it my battery is not tied down, but it has been like that for 2 years. When I bought it they has just replaced the battery and misplaced the bar but I never had a problem before. I will tie it down and make sure those cables are secure!
