i am having a problem. for one i have a major battery drain that i cannot locate. i have yet to get a volt meter and start testing but here are some conditions. it has a turbo timer, s-afc, profec b. as far as the battery drain goes i have to jump it and when i start it the ignition or maybe starter gets stuck and keeps starting for a few seconds and stops eventually then its fine but when i go to turn it off i take the key out and it says running i can rev it up and it doesn't die. eventually i have to let the clutch go to stall it. after its off i could turn it over maybe 3 or 4 times before the battery was dead. could it be the ignition switch, starter, or the wiring for the turbo timer. and also where are some places to test with the voltmeter.

i have not personally used a turbo timer myself but i just did some research for you on this site and talked to some people and the said that most likely its the turbo timer.... waht i suggest is getting a volt meter and locating exactly were your draining all that juice and possibly re wire your timer so you know absolutley that it is wired right and not draining more then it should.. hope y info helped and good luck on the fix:thumb:

it is probably the turbo timer if you have to use the clutch to shut the engine off. Also, take your battery to somewhere like autozone and have them load test it to make sure it is ok.

the previous owner said that the turbo timer wouldnt shut off when he had it but when i bought it (700 bucks sweet deal huh??) it worked fine but after i got a new alternator and battery it wouldn't even come on but it acted like it was working in the fact that the car wouldn't shut off after key was taken out. i know a little bit about timers but i just want to take everything out of it ( turbo timer, profec b, and apexi s-afc") and start fresh. do you know anything about removing any of these things because i don't. i know that the turbo timer is wired into the ignition but that's about it. im also assuming that i need to take out the whole dash. any help would be much appreciated.:banghead:

i cant say i do i appologize... waht i would do is llok it up on here and find some info on how to do that... with this site you can easily find out anything... but what that one guy said take your battery to get checked cause you said it ran fine before the change and now its shit... so i would start there.. and ya thats a great buy
