What size are the factory turbos on 97 Eclipse GSTs? I need to know cause I want to get this on Greddy BOV and it says will fit on 4G63 turbo? was wondering if that was the size of mine.

You need to get a flange for that BOV to work.

T25 is the factory turbo. But that is not the determining factor.

I saw a HKS one for sale for cheaper, with a flange. Will I also need a recirculation kit for that so i won't be rough in idle??

It will cost you more in the long run for the HKS.

It requires a seperate recirc. kit.

The Greddy will work on almost ANY turbocharged car. It is a matter of getting a flange on the upper intercooling pipe. And with the stock piping being rubber/mesh type material it requires a certian type of connector to get it to work.

Or you can buy a NEW UICP (upper intercooler pipe) for your car since you will want one anyway.

Yeah the 4G63 is actually your engine code, has nothing to do with the turbo size. If you have a 1G turbo DSM (90-94) then you have a 14B (if it's a 5 speed) or a 13G (if its an automatic). If you have a 2G (95-99) turbo DSM, its a T25 regardless of transmission type.

About the BOV, you will need an UICP (Upper Intercooler Pipe, this pipe connects the intercooler to the throttle body, also known as the "cold pipe/cold side". The lower IC pipe connects the turbo to the intercooler, known as the hot pipe/hot side) that is flanged for a GReddy BOV. It really doesn't matter what size your turbo is (well, you need to properly set the spring and all, but read around it's not too hard). Good luck!

I've got a Dave Brode UIC, Hallman MBC, and a polished 1G BOV on mine for less than $200. E-bay and your local DSM club members are the best sources.
