Factory BOV vent trick. (Yea, I know...but this one works.)

Where is the research and or proof that backs up your claims? Don't make a statement that you can't back up.

His 'research and proof' comes from ECU and fuel injection tuning 101.

A) Pre-turbo MAF meters air
B) BOV releases metered air
C) ECU doesn't know any better, so it puts in enough fuel for the amount of air metered
D) Car runs rich as a result

I am all for experimenting and trying out new things. However, this is simply a fundamentally flawed idea. No matter how you slice it, you're still dumping metered air to the atmosphere. If you want the sound, convert your system to blow-thru MAF or speed density.

I swear people actually spend time trying to come up with a way to try and vent a bov "properly" even though they know there's only a few ways.

You can keep thinking you're doing it right if it makes you feel better. If you want to do it one of the proper ways, do some searching and you'll find plenty of info.

That pretty much sums it up. Putting a check valve on it doesn't change the fact that YOU'RE LOSING METERED AIR.

And losing metered air = venting to atmosphere. Period.
