I have a '93 Eclipse GS (6 bolt n/t) and want the heavy duty tranny as I plan to Turbo it later. I need to know what I can use from what I have, will I need different axles?
I have a flywheel, clutch kit.

Thanks, Bill W

do u have the turbo or n/t flywheel and clutcj kit... u deff. need the turbo flywheel and clutch kit. and fwd turbo tranny...u should be able to use the same axles...I have done the same thing u are doing..good luck

so what your saying is that your switching from the non turbo transmission to the turbo one? I have the non turbo transmission in my car and I'm making over 300hp easily. No issue's what-so-ever

After shredding the teeth off of 3rd gear on multiple transmission I did a writeup in the tech articles - drivetrain section - regarding how to swap one for the other and the parts needed.

I'm not worried about the tranny not holding up to the turbo, its that I have a Flywheel\clutch that I can't use with out swaping to the F5M33 transaxle. and my Prefrence is to "upgrade".

Mav, could you please give me a link or an addy to your tech articles. I did a serch and nothing came up.

Thanks, Bill W.
