f*****g palm batteries

I've been using the palm m515 for a little while now but I keep on having to buy the damn rechargable batteries that go in them. What's the best logger or something close to the m515 that uses regular "a" batteries. I can't understand what's going on with this thing. It still shows full charge but it won't acctually stay on for longer than a second. You hit a button, it turns off. I charge it, it's fine for a short period of time. This is BS.

Dont use a palm that needs batteries. Buy one that recharges internally. I like the palm iii color. They work well and used to be cheap and easy to find. They are getting harder to find now though.

The one I'm refering to charges internally. It's those batteries that I keep having to buy.
