its -20 right now in mn. I just drove bck from school and my clutch seemed harder to press. Also, when i let off, the pedal seemed to slowly go back to its original location. This is caused by cold right? if so, why?

sorry to be not of any help but i am dealing with the exact same problem right now. i know what you are talking about. i am not sure why thsi happens, but my only guess can be because the clutch fluid is thickening up at these low temperatures causing everything in the process to be slow and react slower.

Lately i've seen some serious inconsistancy in my clutch pedal, some times it will engage very smooth with a light pedal, other times not as light and sometimes it feels like its kinda rough when the pedal is coming back off the floor after a shift. I have a ACT2100 by the way

I can't shift worth a crap into 1st gear lately, it's like 1 degree here. Whole car drives like crap. Does clutch fluid degrade after awhile? Maybe I'll try changing it next time it heat up a little bit.

I also noticed when I started my car, vac was at 10 1/2-11. Then after a few min it dropped drasticlly down to 13-14 even though the rpms were the same? Does that been the car is warmed up and ready to drive? When I got home the vac was at around 18.

Its a possiblity, Like Ruber parts harden up when its cold, so its possible hydrolic Fluid stiffens up when its cold. I live in FL, it never gets that cold.

I had a completely weird clutch related problem caused by the cold. I thought my clutch was dead, but when it warmed back up (LOL 40 degree heatwave) it went back to normal. Cold messes shit up in weird ways.
