I recently got a ticket for exhaust. I didnt have money to pay for the ticket so I just got a stock muffler from a friend and welded it up. I have been trying to figure out a way to get around the law but still have a loud exhaust. When I went to court to show the pictures of the stock exhaust all he needed to see was that it wasnt that big ass 4 inch muffler I had before. Does anyone know if leaving that stock muffler in place and making a stealthy side exit is "legal"? Or maybe someone has been in the same situation and knows a way around it? Someone has got to know something. Thanks guys,
Jason

good way to garauntee getting searched. A buddy of mine has a concealed permit and he now gets searched every time. Before he got his permit he never got searched.

Thats funny ever since I have had my CCW, I have had a lot less trouble. I just hand them my permit with my license, they tend to get antsy if you don't present that information right at the beginning. The stupid part is they know you are a CCW holder when they run your plates on the computer. However, I feel I have been treated better and with a little respect by police since having the permit. In a way it proves you are a law abiding citizen for the most part.
