I need an exhaust for my 95 Talon TSi AWD. It needs welded back together it’s stock exhaust but no shops will touch it because it’s catless. So I think I’m just gonna get a bolt on and do it at home can you guys recommend me some options? Preferably bolt on and I think I wanna just do a turbo back or catback. Any help is appreciated.

I am supremely happy with myGST SR.S 3" cat back and Megan downpipe that I bought off Amazon. I wanted to retain a cat so I had to do some modifications, but without a cat I think it's strictly a bold on setup. My exhaust and downpipe cost about $425 all in, but it looks like the GSX SR.S is more expensive and there might not even be a GSX Megan downpipe available there. Ebay has both for more reasonable prices.

Buy a welder, Son. Fart around on some scrap for a while then lay into your exhaust system. Youll be alright, trust me.

A small mig unit with flux core wire would be sufficient. Find one used that runs off 110 power. Dont pay more than 150 if you can help it.

Unfortunately there aren't many options for awd. I have a DNA exhaust I paid 200 for (cat back and dp) years ago and it still sounds and looks awesome. But that's for a FWD. I had an apexi ws2 on my awd and I hated it. Mild steel rusted up real bad and hung way too low.

Wait no shops will touch your cat less exhaust, but you say it's stock. Which is it? If you only have a cracked flex pipe or something buy a new one for $20 and a HF welder or find a shop that'll do it for $50. I actually take my exhaust jobs to meineke (the apexi rusted through twice) because the owner does weld jobs for cash on the side. He definitely doesn't care about cats. Find another shop.

Word of advice, if you do have a stock exhaust replace it all at the same time, cat or not. Trying to replace the cat back or dp alone will make you insane with anger. Awd aftermarket exhausts are some of the easiest to replace in one piece.
