I just started my car this morning it was decently cold I let the car idle for about 1 min. Then drove it down the street. When I got the the stop sign the car was idleing a hair high around the 850ish range and the exhaust keeps poping. Just like minor backfires the exhaust is a full 2.5inch I have never had any problem with it till this morning. I got on it a little bit to see if I could get it to really backfire at a higher RPM. It acceled just fine with no problems. It seems like it only does the poping at idle I havent got a CEL on it i am not sure why it is doing this but the poping is happening every second. I not sure but i think it might be timming related. Any ideas ??

how do u exactly gap the plugs i bought the thing from autozone and once u put the plug on their do u just push the elctrode down w/ ur fingers?

I will check the Gap of the plugs but I just regapped them to .28 I used 2 gapping tools one wire based and the other was a sliding gapping tool for the best results. Also the wires are nearly new about 7 months old.
