Some Type Of Poping Noise? (exhaust)

Ok so here is my problem. Everytime i let off the gas to shift into the next gear it does like 2-5 poping nosies. I dont think its a back-fire sound. Well its not a back fire-sound but simular but quiter. I was wondering if this is normal or is there something off?

I have a full Exhaust system Header to muffler (highflow cat) it might be the exhuast???

Did you recently install the exhaust and notice this noise? Or is this a completely random noise that just started?

Hrm... I have the same problem... while I let off the gas slowly it does a few of those "domini's", you are talking about, but more in a "puttering" fashion ... Its pretty faint but noticable...never really thought anything of it as car seems to be performing fine while it happens... not to hijack but it seems that you know what that means Defiant...

It was a comical jibe at using "poping" instead of "popping" in the title.

I'd look for a crack or blown gasket in the exhaust.

ditto. check for an exhaust leak. It's sucking cold air in through the exhaust when you let off the gas..

Mine does this all the time. It's more noticeable without a cat or muffler. I wouldn't sweat it.
