high rpm poping noise?

when I floor it my cart makes a poping noise at high rpms and it does not feel like a boost leak either, anyone know what this could be?

double check you spark plug gap ....now when you let off the after flooring it expect poping /backfire it's common but not when you floor it.

just checking, but your not referring to the rev limiter right? You didn't say how high.

If it's when it's decellerating, I'd check for exhaust leak.
