my car is pretty much stock except a rewire fuel pump and a fmic . I sometime runs 20psi of boost and everything seems fine so far . I have a tmo software to monitor various trim and the o2 reading is at 0.83v and the 12 to 15 of timming and 11 knock . I guess everything is fine .
One night I when on to boost and the boost spiked to 22 psi OMG . I then heard a loud pop . black cloud at the back and spit fire ( was driving at noght and shaw a flash in the rear view ) . Turbo is fine and log showed 43 knock and o2 reading was 0.73v during that time . I assuming that is lean .
my question is What was that loud poping noise comparable to a gun shot ? and i also read that using the talon n/t fuel pressure regulator , the fuel sistem will support 22 psi .
Just what I heard let me know if it's true because I got 1 wating to be installed .
thanx for all the reply in advance .

That is LEAN. Always tune for zero knock.

I'm assuming that was VERY lean.

I think you might have screwed something.... I'd compression check the engine to make sure it's not done.
