Ive done a great deal of searching and have decided on either the

RSR
Apex'i WS
GReddy EVO

Only question I still have is which exhaust has the quietest idle tone? Reason for needing a quiet idle tone is because I live on a court and with the car running for a few minutes because of the TT I get in trouble. Any info is appreciated. Also if anyone has any links to find any of these at decent prices would also be appreciated. thx :dsm: :)

Yeah, for the non-turbo cars. All the vendors that carry the WS2 right now only have it for the Eclipse RS/GS. Shane916's profile says GST.

My profile says GST as well, and I would suggest to Shane916 that if he is conserned about noise that he get a 50 state legal exhaust, and if his neighbors want to complain to much, that he inform them that by federal mandate, his exhaust IS legal, and that his local authorities would not want their time wasted by calling to complain about a car idling.

You can only bend over so far for neighbors, they dont have to expend any effort to bi*** and moan, but when you have a complaint about thier pos parked on a public street, they wont care. Do to your car whatever you want, as long as it is legal, or almost legal. It is your right and you are entitled to have whatever modifications to your car as you want.

JUST GO BUY A THERMAL R&D EXHAUST!

My HKS Carbon Titanium is quiet at idle, actually only a little louder than stock. I am not a fan of loud exhausts at all so I recommend this to guys who dont want to attract local law enforcement officers to their rides.

I had heard the RS*R exhaust and it is comparable to stock. It actually was my choice for a long while.

cardomain canceled my order and said the Apex'i WS are no longer available :( anyone know any other websites that have the exhaust for low to mid $300 shipped for the GST? Thanks :dsm:

That sucks Shane. I just got my WS from cardomain for $309 shipped, I think it's a steal OMG But it was no longer available 2 hours after I placed my order, so I think it's a price error or that's one of the last few units they had. I placed the order on 6/26, 10 a.m. maybe let them know one of your friends got it see what they can do about it, the exhaust normal goes for ~$380 and higher. But I will still get it from turboimport for $379 shipped if I were you, as cardomain will probably charge you more if shipped to east coast, I paid only $28 shipping as I live in CA.

Anyone know what dp with cat that can bolt on to this exhaust? I want a N1 dp badly but I don't want to risk getting a $2000 fine running without a cat (CA). Anyway, I going to post some pictures of my new WS.

you can get the "short" downpipe and either get a high-flow cat with flanges already welded on from them or just order the flanges and get them welded on to a high-flow cat of your own.

This from their site on the downpipes:
These down pipes are mandrel bent and have a large diameter flex section. They are built to bolt directly to an RSR or Apex N-1, RS, WS or Dunk exhaust systems only, but can be modified by cutting and welding to fit other brands.

Anyone buy anything from turboimport yet? They are in cali and im scared if something goes wrong I'll never see my money. I am looking to buy the WS catback and N1 Downpipe..

make sure you order the DP "brace" that bolts to the front of the block and the dp and takes the weight off the manifold.
