Aight. I have an exhaust leak right at the start of that flexible pipe before the cat (and right after the headers collect under the engine). I took off a hose clamp that was on there, but it seems to be cemented on. Suggestions? I'm debating just pounding it off witha hammer and whatnot, but I don't know what I'm doing exactly. It there an easier way? (even if its replacement parts)
Car is 1990 GS 2.0 NT.
Edit: I found some cheap a$$ ebay headers for the NT 4g63. I know they probably aren't that great and wont offer anything performance wise, but it would be the about the same price in my mind to buy these and install myself vs getting the hole(s) in the exhaust fixed. Now my question is - How hard would it be to install the headers? Mind you this is NON TURBO. My father seems to think this will take forever. Hes doing the "Back in my day I did that to my Mustang and we had to take the whole engine out" blah blah blah. I don't htink it would be that hard. Thoughts?
