So I have a 1g manifold that's got quite a few cracks in it some small one big one and I'm curious how much this is affecting my cars performance it's runs fine . It has a occasional miss to it when car is idling but that's all

Any pics, the missing sounds like more of another issue rather than a exhaust leak, ive had leaks car never missed. You say leaks how big, pics would help. Try the plugs, wires, coil pack if its missing.

If the crack is causing an exhaust leak then yes it is effecting performance negatively. If its not, its only a mater of time before it begins leaking...I would begin to look into a replacement such as a 2g or EvoIII mani and do some porting right away while your at it.
