So, this doesn't work. I set a NLTS setup as a test and it didn't work. I didn't think anything of it just yet, maybe I didn't enable it. So couple weeks later (last night) I went into the Tephra V7 Rom and set a 4500rpm stationary rev limit and enabled launch maps as well as NLTS which was already checked. It didn't work. Stationary Rev Limit doesn't enable. As well as NLTS. They both just hit the main rev limiter...

Anyone have any ideas?

Well the clutch switch is stock..... Car wont start without it. Was there a rewire for the clutch switch or something I had to do when I did the Evo8 Conversion? I don't remember seeing anything about it.

also that wouldn't have anything to do with Stationary Rev Limit. That should be working period when under 5mph, clutch or not. Unless the Tephra mod rom is that different and requires the clutch to be pressed to activate Stationary Rev Limit.

But I understand for the NLTS.

I haven't messed with the stationary rev limit on the newest tephra mod, and I just got my car back on the road again after having sat for almost 7 months so I need to re-fresh my memory on the stationary rev limit part.

As for the NLTS, there are actually 2 switches mounted on the clutch pedal assembly. One on the bottom that is pushed when you push down on the clutch (the reason you need to push the clutch in to start the car). And a smaller switch on top that is pushed when your foot is off the clutch (it is there to tell the cruse control to turn off when you push the clutch in). This is the switch that needs to be wired to the ECU for NLTS to be active. Basically you run a wire from the black wire with the red stripe to the ECU pin 43.

I do have a similare problem, I did wire the clutch switch correctly but even so: NLTS doesn't work.
the stationary rev limiter does work well.
Any ideas?

Everything is active in Ceddy mods? Your NLTS isn’t set to 0??? Are you sure the clutch switch is actually being activated/deactivated when you push the clutch switch? I had an issue with mine when I first hooked it up, the switch needed to be adjusted.

Ok, So I have to (we all have to) wire in the top clutch switch? Because mine is stock and has never been disconnected. Just didn't know it was different from the Evo's or whatever. Where does that wire from the stock switch go? Does it go near the ECU so I can just work from there or should I just run a new wire or what?

This should have been part of the 2g/Evo8 ECU How to. It was not as far as I can see.

If memory serves correctly it does but doesnt... That wire from the switch has to go from the switch to the cruse cont module which if I am not mistaken is in the cab under the passengers side foot well next to the blower motor but the wire harness itself is buried up under the dash and the only way to get to it os to pull the dash. I just spliced in to the wire at the switch and ran the additional wire over the column to the ECU. At the time it hadn't crossed my mind to check those connectors for that particular wire.

Found this is a search, so figured I would reply vs opening a new thread.

I have a 1G with the Evo 8 ecu. Well, 3g ecu with Evo ROM using Tephramods v7.

The Stationary Rev Limiter (Launch) does not work. I have my regular Rev Limiter to 7500RPM. I have my Stationary Rev Limiter set to 5000RPM.

When not moving and trying to use launch control, the car will Rev to the regular Rev limiter.

If I lower the regular Rev limiter, it will go to whatever the lower Rev limiter is set to. At 5000RPM set as the regular Rev limiter, the car will build plenty off boost while sitting still, free revving.

The Stationary Rev limiter is not working at all. Is there a specific ROM we need to use for the launch control features to work? I've already modified my Launch Maps.
