i paid 800 bucks for my evo 3 fully ported and everything and its only 150 miles, thats why i ask.

dude i bought it new from FP a couple of months ago brand mother father new. i said that right now its only 150 miles so i dont want to get rid of it for like 200 bucks.

the turbo is fully ported with all the options and additionals.

someone with a better post???

The sure way to know is to probably contact them directly. And yea...$800 sounds to be a bit much for this turbo...

the price of this turbo was 550 new, i paid 250 more for additional shit. ill contact them but i think ill receive a response till monday.

im thinking its possible just not feasible you probably have to swap at least the comp wheel and have the housing machined. thats just a guess i dont know if they did anything with the turbine side. i highly doubt you can just swap wheels. but hey if you want 200 for your evo ill take it

if its possible is transform the 16g in and fp hta with all the porting balance and all that stuff if needed im not saying i just want to swap the wheel and i want them to do it since they are the creators. haha

Last time I talked to FP, no they would not do a conversion. You need to call FP to find out for certain, very simple. Having said that, the 68HTA is a nice little turbo, very good midrange, I run one on my 05 Sti. I'm certain it'll pull an easy 430 w.h.p. on a DSM.

Yeah i saw some of your posts or threads about that and the airflow and yeah i know that is a crazy littkle turbo. from what i know FP 68hta have the different compressor and the compressor cover is ported so i think thats it, but ill wait for their response.

if i remember right you have an evo 3 at like 380ish right? very impressive.

mine was at 365ish but not dyno it just myself tune. saw the hp with dsmlink. i saw that is hella accurate ill say 35oish real.

I don't know why you're so eager to upgrade- the two turbos are on the same TD05H platform and have nearly identical airflow unless you're really pushing the compressor to the edge of it's map. English Racing has proven their similarities by running just 3/10's faster on a HTA68 than they did with an Evo III 16G.
