I have an evo3 16g ready to install, trying to figure out what size injectors to buy. I will be staying on pump gas, no e85. I have the upgraded fuel pump and gauges on the way, as well as ecmlink v3 ready to be installed. I've been reading and have seen reccomendations of 750cc all the way to 1050cc injectors reccomended. Is it possible to purchase injectors that are "too" large, and not work correctly for me? Or can i oversize a bit, just in case I want to do more down the road?

Since you have link you can get away with any reasonable size injector. If you plan on staying with pump gas I'd say 750cc would be comfortable, with a little headroom. 1050cc+ is really just for E85 and the like that requires richer AFRatios.

If you're the curious type though, like me, you're going to want to play with E85 if you're given the opportunity... I have 550's and they'll keep up with my 18g, but now that I have a flash ECU, I am probably going to be swapping out for some 1000cc or 1100cc injectors soon specifically to run alcohol.

You can run ~1000cc on gas with Link, yet they would be big enough to run E85 with a 16g. If your certain you will only want 300hp and never any more (which is pretty rare), then even a 650cc injector would be more than enough. I was pushing over 30 lbs/min on my small 16g with 660's and never hit over 60% IDC's. But I can tell you from experience, upgrading your injectors twice when you want more power, is a real pain in the rear.

Thanks for the input guys. I think Im going to go with a set of 1050's. In regards to swappin injectors on these cars being a PITA, try swapping injectors on a mechanically injected diesel..... Hard line to each injector, that you have to bend out of the way.

Goingt through that now:notgood: Bought 1000cc ptes thinking i only wanted 350 or 400 on pump. NO! i want MORE power LOL. Getting some 1650s now, talk about unnecessary expenses....

OP, just buy big a$$ injectors if you have link and be done with it.
