Whats needed to run a evo3 16g?

well, im thinking about upgrading my turbo eventually, and now im in the stage of buying the supporting mods i need to run the evo3 16g, but im not sure what those are, so here i am to ask, what supporting mods are needed to run a evo3 16g? also would a MAF-translator be a good enough tuning tool with this setup

seriously man - get a 2g mas and 550s and use a datalogger to play with the 2gmas screw to get it close. If you wanted a more legit setup, get an afc, but the 2gmas/550 is a good combo. What for boost did you want to run on it? <18 and this will be good for you!

I would think afc and 550's would be good with a rewired fuel pump. 15psi would be good .

Well, I managed a 12.3 @ 110mph on my EVOIII 16g set up... my mods were RC 550, SAFC, 2.5inch downpipe/3 inch cat back, the SSAC FMIC kit, walbro 255. This was on a 100% stock 7bolt engine and some crappy OEM replacement clutch setup as well. This run was around 20-25 psi (I later found my guage was not working properly and wouldn't past the 20psi mark )

I would also suggest you go with bigger injectors then I did as-well, also a wide band and logger so you know where you're at in your tune. You don't want to go with anything crazy for injectors if you plan on just using an SAFC either. My buddy has a set of 580's and they are working great with his 16g and SAFC set up.

Oh, you have a 1g, it wouldn't be a bad idea on going with at least a 2g MAS.
