Evo Wheels Rims [Merged 5-9] wheel wheels rim

I have a set on my car (see avatar). I put some 225/45/17 Kumho's on there. I was afraid of rubbing if I used 235/45/17

My buddy wants to sell me his evo wheels, im pretty sure ive seen them on a 2g before, just cant remember where. I did some searching and could only find info for the 1g guys. Can anyone confirm fitment? or have pics to as what they would look like?

I believe offset may be an issue.

I slapped 2 Evo wheels on my 98 GSX (front and rear). I also had the Tokico HP kit, ride heigth will affect overall image and clearance. I liked the hell out of it, if the wheels are going on a 2gb especially. Really adds a sharp look the the car, really sporty.

*Offset was not an issue, yet those running a big brake kit may run into a clearance problem.

Stays pretty flush. Depending on what size tire you run, it will also aid in appearance. A 235/45 would be a nice agressive tire, and would fill up and wheel well gaps. I need to search for the pic, but I can remember they didnt buldge out, but werent too far in to look skiny.

They will fit. They are a +35mm offset I believe. Yes they are flush, but they are wide and light which makes it usually good for the price and performance. Seen one guy on here run them at the road course. 235/45 is what he had.

Their is one detail about them I forgot. Something about center-bore?!? I'd still buy those as spares.

Lol, I road race with him at Streets of Willow. He had the rear fenders rolled because of the wide offset of the Evo wheels, and the wide tires interfering.

I recently installed Evo 7 GSR wheels on my 2G... as far as i know i'm the only one of the forum since u guys don't have 7's hehe...
