Evo Wheels Rims [Merged 5-9] wheel wheels rim

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think advan makes tires. I thought they only made rims.

Also, if you want a quote on an offer we're going to need the size of the rim I thinks. 16, 17, 18, 19's?

Yes they fit some girl has them on her spyder here its white and the wheels dont look half bad....but unless your getting a good price id say go woth an aftermarket rim

also visit the photochop forum and ask someone to put them on your car it will be cake

im about to get some 2003 evo 8 wheels at a good deal but i was just wondering will they fit my 1993 1g fwd eclipse w/o clearance issues ? ??

they should, i got em on my 97 gst thats lowered on tein s-tech springs. if you run the stock evo tire size which is a 235/45/17 it may scrub on the fenderwells some but not too bad

I am wondering if I could get my hands on some Evo 8 or 9 wheels if they would work on a 1ga.

Could someone tell me there bolt pattern, size, width and weight?

I don't know the weight, but they are the same bolt pattern as our cars, 5x114.3/5x4.5, and 17x8". Heres a pic, and another on a 1ga.

I was at new logics a couple of months ago and he was helping a customer take his evo 8 wheels off because the evo's mount by the lug nuts and the 1g's mount off the center cap or something like that. either way, the center cap on the evo rims has to be bored out perfectly for them to work on a 1g, and since they just sanded them so they would fit, they wobbled all over the place. maybe someone could clarify as this is my horrible memory remembering from a while back. either way, I know they DID NOT work for them.

paul just did my clutch/pressure plate/flywheel install, so Im hoping hes right. maybe Ill pm him to see what exactly the problem was, but I remember that they were having problems at higher speeds (aka free way speeds, not like racing speeds) with excessive vibration from the wheels. I was just throwing it out there because so far, paul hasn't been wrong on too many things from when I talk to him.

First they won't bolt up because the centerbore is wrong. Then you won't answer technical questions in a technical forum. Now it's a problem at certain speeds. Seriously. Please don't post when you don't have anything close to all the facts. This is not the place to "just throw stuff out there." That's what DSMTalk is for.

Ok i know the evo wheels fit and they are 8 inches wide and strong and light(er). So everything is good right?

I have heard alot about them rubbing and that you have to roll your fenders. I am planning on instaling kyb agx's and prokits in the near future and wonder if they will rub or not?

If they will rub how involved is the rolling of fenders do i need to roll a little to clear them or alot. Is this hard? I have read into how to do it but haven't seen a pic of someone with rolled fenders yet.

I heard that the offset is off the other way and they hot the struts on a 1G.
