I have a 90 talon tsi, my turbo went out on me and I need to replace it.
Here's my question, will a evo 3 turbo work with a stock fuel system. There was a question from slowboy as to whether or not it would be able to supply enough fuel. Second I'm having a mechanic put it in so I would like to know ahead of time everything I need to make the install go smoothly.
If the evo 3 won't work will a small 16g be the way to go.
I'm looking to keep the car stock I don't want to race it. Just looking for a little more kick without having to modify the fuel system.

Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Thanks in advance, Ive only had the car four months and obviously don't know too much about it..

It's really not going to matter what turbo you get as long as you don't turn up the boost. So your stock fuel system will work fine. If you don't really care about speed and getting it back on the road then you may want to consider getting another 14b. Unless you find a killer deal on a 16g the 14b will be alot less. Unless you are going to up the boost the 16g isn't going to do anymore than the 14b. As far as the install if you do get the 16g. It's a clean swap. You don't have to get new parts.(But personally i would suggest new oil lines and gaskets just cause you don't know what the cause of your stocker dying is) Good Luck.:thumb:

Thank you for your responses, I really appreciate it.
I was hoping for a little more boost with the evo, are you saying I wont feel any differnce? I was hoping for around 14 or so.
Yes I will replace the oil lines and the gaskets your right I think they are the reason I'm having to replace the turbo.
Thanks again for your replys...
