Have a 94 TSI with an Evo ecu. Been running it a year. Runs fine on SD with an Omni and GM sensor. Used a an old HKS VPC harness and an evo Patch harness. Just got a 93 TSI auto. Took the same harness and sensors and ECU. Installed it. MPI clicks out and wont stay running. Swap MPI. Same thing. Put stock ecu back in the 93. Runs fine. Put the Evo ecu back in the 94. Runs fine.
Obviously its not the patch harness I been using as it works fine on the manual car. Just put an auto swap in the 94 with a forced four shift box. Runs fine.

Scoured the diagrams looking for any wire that would affect the ignition or MPI and haven't found it. Anyone out there currently running an Auto with the stock TCU still and an Evo ECU?
