EVO 8 FMIC and T-25, necessary?

Is the front mount really necessary for my t-25. I plan to upgrade, but that's about 3 months from now. Will I benefit from the side mount more? LMK what's up.

seriously, what are you upgrading soon? the i/c or the turbo?
i would say wait for the new turbo unless you plan on getting a T-28 cause the compressor outlet faces the same way the t-25 does.

14b,16g,20g, T3/T4, various trim models.... wait till they are installed and do the i/c then.

Short answer, no it's not necessary. If you're going to be upgrading to a larger turbo, at least get a decent FMIC. The SSAutoChrome is what I'll be getting if I ever get any money.

I'm going with the evo 16g soon. I plan on having all my supporting mods (including fmic) before I get the turbo. Just makes more sense to me to do it that way. As for the Evo IC, well.. it must be better than the stock sidemount at least.

Ya, but you'll have to redo the piping if you run the IC piping to the t25, and then get the 16g later.

The evo 8 fmic is good for 400 whp. I don't see how it's a shitty IC. I've had the piping already done and I've noticed the torque increase. I like it, a little tricky since outlets are on both sides.
