So far the only FMIC that fits the T-25 is the PR one, however when I do upgrade to a E316G what will need to be swapped? Are the neccesary fitment pipes available separate?

Before you say no FMIC on T-25 etc, I am fixing major IC boost leaks so instead of spending all the money to fix the SMIC stuff I am going straight to FMIC.

Anyway, does anyone know of fitting options for the T-25, my budget is about 400-450$ atm.

Thanks for the help :thumb:

the only pipe that is different is the pipe off the turbo outlet, the T-25 has a C pipe and the 16g has a J pipe, the J pipe can be had from almost any vendor, add a 90* coupler and it will hook right up to the fmic no problem. I have a Dejon short route fmic on my gsx atm.

PUnishment does make good stuff though, never heard anything bad so far.

I was actually looking at Dejon first, however they run about 600$, the long route is cheaper but you have to buy the UICP separate.

The PR Kit actually fits with little to not cutting either which is a big plus.

I havent seen a T-25 in a while, but could you cut the elbow off the turbo and then use a silicone 90 degree bend to face the drivers side and trim to fit. Thats what I did with my 20G.

Well the thing is the PR kit bolts up to the T-25 however I am worried that if I purchase this option I will be SOL for the E316G later down the road. I don't really know enough about how it will bolt up to know if this is a bad idea or not.

I certainly do not think you will be SOL, just get some additional silicone hosing on stand by. However, ask around, FMIC on the T-25 is not exactly something that most people recommend, I mean unless you're planning on getting that EvoIII 16 within a few months or so. You'll end up losing boost and low end spool time.

My stock SMIC has a crack in it as well as the couplers and some of the pipes are leaking, it looks like they took it out at one point and messed it up :ohdamn:

So I can either re-buy stock SMIC parts and core and a flange for a 1g BOV to replace my leaky 2g or I can just go straight to a FMIC. Seriously I am not doing any street circuit drag racing, slightly slower spool time is much better then a boost leak :|

Unless someones got a better idea to replace stock core and piping without losing me money in the long run which I would love to hear.

PR is great. My nephew has one and no complaints yet. I am in the same boat as the OP. I rather loose some boost lag then have leaks that could lead to worst later so I guess doing it right the first time is the way to go!

so I guess doing it right the first time is the way to go!

Doing it right the first time would be getting the VRSF kit. ;)

OP, I'll copy and paste from my post on Talk.

So not only will you be spending $380 on a PR kit just because it bolts up to your stock turbo, but later on down the road you'll be spending an extra $50-$70 for a J-pipe when you want to run a 16G.

To be honest it's not that much cutting with the VRSF kit, and like bradikus said, your gaining a much better inter-cooler when you do it. The most cutting you'll do, is a tiny bit of trimming to the bumper/crash beam(you don't have to hack it to death, but I did to save weight), and you have to enlarge one hole on the passenger side of the radiator support, which takes all of like 1 minute with a cut-off wheel(you can buy these for like $10-$15 at any parts store).

And dude, I promise you can find a U-pipe for cheap. eBay has them retarded cheap, and so does any hardware/lumber store like Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. Finding a U-Pipe isn't a problem.

I had a question about cutting as I need to do it eventually when I pick up a kit, do you reprime/paint where you cut? if you don't isn't that just asking for rust?

Also what makes VRSF so much better then PR, not doubting your assessment as I don't know personally I am just curious as to why you don't like them.

The punishment kit will work fine, j pipes are easy to find in classifieds for $25 or less when you decide to upgrade to 16g, it is a easy install with minimal modification needed

ETS also sells a FMIC kit for the T-25. Their kits are also modular, so that in order to change a component or turbo, you just change one pipe, which they sell so that there is a direct bolt-up and fitment. I have two different throttle pipes for mine, so I can run any of the BOVs that I own. I also bought the j-pipe for my 16g when I upgrade from the T25.

I recently upgraded to a FMIC on my t25. its a CXracing direct bolt on. i paid 450, shipping and tax included from ebay. it came with all piping, clamps, re-circulating BOV and an extra j-pipe for wen i upgrade to a bigger turbo. :thumb:

I believe when you order the PR fmic it prompts you to select if you are using a stock turbo or not. If you are, I imagine they include the u-pipe. Otherwise, yes it comes with a j-pipe.

I hope PR chimes in because I dont think they used to offer an option for that v-pipe. I figured that option would bump the price up because that tight radius pipe looks a bit tough to manufacture.

Description: 2G DSM FMIC Kit T25 Style
Item #: Kit-2G
Unit price: $369.99
Qty: 1
Amount: $369.99

You have to select the T-25 option or it won't fit.

"Does this bolt up to the stock T-25 or will it need to be cut/purchase a separate U pipe. -- Just select the T25 option when making the purchase"

That's right from the horses mouth so to speak

and they also have free shipping on today on every item on their site (pr site), I know because I just bought one this a.m:D:hellyeah:

I just bought and received my PR FMIC a couple days ago.
I can confirm that if you select the the stock t-25 option, you will get all the pipes to run on the t-25 and a j-pipe for any other turbo. I also have an extra pipe that has a boost source nipple on it. You could run any turbo with this FMIC kit.
This is a great all in one kit. I plan on getting a 16 or 18g turbo later on down the road, so all I have to do is take out one pipe and replace it with the included j-pipe.
