Evo 8 Enkei rims on a 2g, Questions...

So I just got my hands on a nice set of evo8 enkei wheels.

After taking them to a shop to have them installed, I ran into some issues.

First off the tuner lug nuts can not be used for these rims. Should I use my 2g oem lug nuts or find some evo8 lug nuts?

It's obvious that I need to roll my rear finders but is there anything I need to worry about in the front?

After installing the rims, I drove the car home, on the way home my front passenger side kept making a squeezing noise, like something needed grease or something is rubbing, but when I got out to investigate, I couldn't find anything. The noise gets louder the faster I go. But I couldn't see anything obvious. I'm going to take off the rim tomorrow and see if I find anything.
Is there anything in the front that I had todo?

My car is lowered on tokico HP blues shock/spring kit

225/45/17 size tires

You can use the 2g lug nuts. They're the same as the Evo ones.

You shouldn't have to roll your front fenders unless you really give it positive camber. For me, the rear drivers side is the only one that does need rolled (left cut in tire).

Thanks for clearing that up with the 2g/evo8 lug nuts. How did you roll your fenders? Just a bat and buddy?

Do you have any thoughts on what could be going on with the odd sound coming from the front passenger side rim?

Check the brake backing plate for the noise.

I haven't rolled them yet But my brother and I bought a fender roller from Eastwood to do the job.

No idea what could be going on. I'd jack it up and see if anything looks abnormal or has excessive play.

+1 I drove around with this plate rubbing on my rotor for a few days before realizing what it was. Annoying as hell.

For the front I would check the brake. As for rolling the fenders that all depends on you and how low you go. I didn't have a rubbing issue till I went to a 235 tire. Even then I only rub on big bumps. But yet again I'm on Eibach pro's. As for rolling look to see where it is rubbing at. You may only have to "roll" the little tiny lip inside the fender well. Hope that helps. The 2g lug nuts will work just fine. I do wish I had the factory set of locking lug nuts like some or maybe all Evos had.

When I first noticed the sound, thats the first thing I checked, but Ill give it another look

I just noticed the break shield is bent at the bottom! MOTHER LOVERS!!

I didnt have my OEM lug nuts anymore so I ended up getting a set of lug nuts at autozone that look pretty close, they have washer and a flat bottom like the OEM ones

Change out those lug nuts out. I used those on mine with the stockers on and the rims still had a little side to side play even though they were tight. It made the same sound as yours. Put oem ones and it solved my problem.
