The install kit I got doesn't have a gasket for the Turbo to J-Pipe connection, RRE says you should just silicone it but that seems kind of sloppy, any help finding a gasket for this?

Yup, that's the right one. Silicone is OK temporarily, but you'll need to let it cure completely prior to boosting otherwise it'll leak.
