I have 2 questions reguarding bolts and such for my setup. I have the evo 3 intake manifold and it appears that the 2 on the outside left and the 1 outside right bolt holes are bigger, I was trying to find a bolt kit for it.

Also, for the gasket, should I use the magnus spacer or the regular 2g gasket?

Thanks.

Your BACK!!!!! Take a break from DSM's?

To answer your question, I recommend using the OE IM gasket and hitting it with the copper gasket sealer to make sure it doesn't leak. The bolts are no different either so what held your 2g IM up will work with the Evo III/RVR IM as well. I'm saying this because I did the install on the spot, pulled my stock 2g IM off and bolted the RVR IM I had with the same hardware.

Haha yeah, I did take a break for awhile because of some problems but now I'm back. I only have a small list to finish my car like injectors, oil can, fp intake and these random bolts and gaskets.

But back on the topic, So just go with a regualr gasket? I would think everyone was using the spacer gasket or something.

and on Extremepsi I looked at ordering the bolts and it just shows this EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts

So I would orer just 10 of them? Even though the outsides are bigger on the evo manifold?

No. You would order 7 of those sized bolts. And unless your head doesn't have the studs in it, you will also need (2x) M10 x 1.25mm pitch nuts and M10 lock washers as well as an M10 x 1.25mm pitch x 30mm long bolt.

(7) of those bolts
(2) M10 x 1.25mm pitch nuts........I dont have the studs what are they?
(3) M10 lock washers
(1) M10 x 1.25mm pitch x 30mm long bolt

Thanks for that, now I just need to know the 2 studs I will need.

They are M10 x 1.25mm pitch as well. As far as length goes, not exactly sure. The studs extrude 30mm from the head itself, but I haven't removed one to find out exactly how far in they go.

You are positive these aren't still in the head? I don't know of many people who remove them. The part number for the stud is MS401452, just in case. :)

Thanks for all your help man, and yes I did remove them when I built the motor, an OCD thing I think.

Anyways.. this is everything then:

(7) of those bolts
(2) M10 x 1.25mm pitch nuts
(2) MS401452 studs
(3) M10 lock washers
(1) M10 x 1.25mm pitch x 30mm long bolt
