I did a quick search. no subjects matched this.

I am looking to purchase a new turbo i'm leaning very close to the FP Big-28 but i've heard from a couple people to get the Evo 3 16G.

I autox so full boost quicker is more important to me than more boost later, I also have an automatic and don't plan to do more than a shift kit so i'm only getting up to 3k RPM's on a launch and would like to have full boost as close to that as possible.

so i'm just curious to hear some more views on this.

also the stock look is keeping me wanting the FP Big-28...is there enough of an advantage for what I want to opt for the Evo 3 16G instead.?

I would say the FPBig28. Spools about 300rpms earlier and simple install. I don't think the EVO 16g flows much more air.

If you autocross go for the FPBig28 for sure. It spools up almost as fast as the little T25 and has a better midrange than the EVOIII 16G. The EVOIII 16G has superior top end power.

Thats true.
If you autox then the big-t28 is definately for you. The big16g is directly comparable to the evo16g actually. The only thing is the evo16g should have a little bit more topend.

Those help with the fp28 vs the big16g. Like I said tho, the 16g is comparable to the evo16g. FP28 is kinda in a class on its own.
