As if I needed more proof that my husband is awesome . . . He topped himself by coming up with the idea to engrave the valve cover on my Eagle Talon.

It's not completely done, but this gives you an idea on how it turned out.

Haha, no.

They're welded on, just used a sealer (not jb weld) to make the welds look smoother since the valve cover was hard to weld after being oil soaked for 20 years.

We only had a few hours last night to get the valve cover on, along with the new catch can setup, and the car loaded up for the track tonight. Therefore, there is a lip left from the sealer that you're seeing.
 
Looks good, keep an eye on that brass EGT plug. It may want to work it's way out since it's such a soft metal (ask me how I know :p). If you google for 'egt bung plug', you should be able to find some steel and stainless steel ones for cheap.
