So I decided to to paint the valve cover to match the cars paint a bit. I had painted it grey before so I used a paint stripper, an old toothbrush, and brake parts cleaner (my favorite product ever) to remove all the old paint.

Then I hit the letters with an orange that came close to matching the outside of the car.

Then I spent well over an hour of painstaking masking off the letters and painting the whole valve cover with a black wrinkle finish. I think it turned out pretty damn slick. Some really nice texture on the black and it makes a cool contrast IMO.

Unfortunatly, my camera skills arent up to snuff so the pics arent good. I just cant seem to figure this damn thing out. Most of my pics come out very blurry and psychedelic. I usually end up taking several pics and choosing the least blurry.
