winnipeg,
I Have an 1g eagle talon 92 automatic non turbo. Sometimes when im rolling around 30-40km/h when I stepped on the gas about 75% throttle I noticed that the engine revs quicker with snappy punch, but sometimes at the same speed n situation, my engine revs longer even if i floored it. It didn't have the same snappy punch. Could it be the fuel pressure and fuel pump? or could it be the TCU or my transmission it self?...theres a big difference when I saw the rev needle punch and climbed quicker. I want to have the same response all the time :( Im also thinking it could be my TPS. I cleaned the throttle body and adjusted the throttle cable but it didn't solved it. Any info would be appreciated. thnx later all.

How old are your plugs/wires? Replace em with NGK BPR6ES (wait just saw u have an N/T, so use whatever plugs are good for your engine I dunno much about N/Ts) plugs and NGK or OEM wires if their old. Next try some fuel injector cleaner, maybe your injectors are just dirty. Try the easy stuff (plugs/wires/injector cleaner) before going on to more advanced stuff (TPS etc), its usually something stupid!

My plugs are still new its been only a year. I also have new plug wires and im using Premium pump gas all the time. I will change my fuel filter, it was still the original. Im also thinking that I need a new tranny rebuild shift kit.
