Hey DSMers i have a 91 gsx with a bunch of mods. i am having a problem which i think maybe due to the tuning of my apexi super afc II. after i installed RC 550cc injectors and the safc II the car hesitates to turn on once it does it idles rough (note: i have hks cams 262 & 274). if i rev the car and let go of the accelerator the rpms drop and the car turns off. when im driving it and shifting from gear to gear when i stick in the clutch and let go of the accelerator the rpms drop and car shuts off i shift and pop the clutch and the shit comes back on. any ideas? im thinking of eliminating my Apexi safc II and going with an aem stand alone. thanks! :dsm:

well i had the exact same problem. it turned out to be the idle speed sensor behind the throttle body. try havin a tech check ur sensors. that resolved my problem and it hasnt returned ever since. however, i have heard stories of these guys who just change their spark plugs and thats it. but i guess those are just the real lucky ass guys.

yup i own the 1st speed shop in the country. there are like 3 other ones now, but dont have the selection & prices i have. the store is in managua in the main street altamira. you from here? im originally from miami, fl. met my wife there while she was on vacation. came here to visit her family and noticed there wasnt a speed shop here. street racing is one of my hobbies. my profession was mortgage broker. i came in 2002 @ 24yrs old and opened the shop. it has slowly grown and keeps on growing. nothing like the shops from the states, but getting there. my 1g gsx is the shops official car. this is why i have so much invested in it. everything in it i sell & + more. advertising! :thumb:
