engine smoking sometimes HELP!!

OK,
Here is the deal, I have a 91 talon awd (pretty fresh jdm engine with new head gasket & studs) with a sbr 50 trim (has about 5,000 miles on it). It smokes but only sometimes, it will smoke on acceleration and it does'nt matter of throttle position. It can be wide open under 26lb. of boost or just running the rpm's up slowly. Of course the smoke gets heavier when it is under boost than it does when just slowly running up through a gear. Also it will smoke on deceleration with the smoking being worse when the rpm's are up above say 2500 (I guess because that is when its pulling alot of vaccum). It will set all day and idle and not smoke though, any ideas??? I thought it might be the pcv system so I routed it to a catch can and it is not really putting out any oil into there. I did a compression check and they were all at 164. Also I sent the charger back to sbr and they said it was fine, but i'm still a little iffy about that. I think thats all i've tried any suggestions would be great.

Is is white smoke, if so you are burning oil. The most probable place it is coming from the turbo. It could also be the oil feed and/or return lines are pluged. I replaced all of these and it works beautifully now, and if you want to replace these lines just for spite, just find the upgrade ones online. I bought a heafty looking return line and the oil feed line is braided stainless steel that mounts near the oil filter for actual pressure instead of the stock "gravity feed"system

OK,
I think I may have it narrowed down now to the turbo, but i'm not 110% sure yet. In the mirror it doesnt look to be smoking, but i wanna get someone behind me to look at it & see. I took my turbo off and put on a borrowed SC61, turbonetics gate, & manifold & I think that fixed it. I ran it at like 8lbs. & I couldnt see any smoke, I'm gonna try to tune on the dsmlink today & see if I can get the fuel right on the wideband & turn it up some to see if it smokes at higher boost levels. My return line doesnt have a 45 in it where it comes off the charger so the hose is kind of pinched (about 50%) off it is a 5/8 hose & the kit came from sbr. I hope that is what it is.

I got a question. Will the oil feed line at that link fit a stock turbo? I like that one more, and my banjo bolt hold is stripped at the end and is leaking. Also, how reliable is that site?

As long as you get a oil line kit for a 16g or bigger mitsu. cartrige it will work. I have installed a bunch of goodridge oil line kits & they work great. Here is the link that I usually get them from.

That fixed it!! The smoke is gone after installing an sc61. Now it doesnt smoke a bit. Thanks for the advice guys!!
