Hey guys I have a problem with my mounts lining up right. I got the engine in but it looks crooked, I did an auto to manuel conversion and got all different mounts since I did poly mount inserts. I used all manuel awd mounts except the mount that connects to the tranny and bolts to the frame. That one was the PITA to get on we had to use a 3' pry bar to get it lined up with the holes! I thought maybe it was like that because there poly mounts and there just that hard, but when I went to put on my Tcase it will not line up properly, and it hits the k member subframe. I dont know what I did wrong any ideas or experience with this?
Thanks :hellyeah:

I don't have any experience with that swap, but the auto and manual tranny mounts are different. I just replaced all of my mounts and they sent me a auto tranny mount by accident. I verfied all part #'s when they came in, so i caught it before I installed all the motor mounts. It is basically a mirror image of the manual mount. So it would bolt up on the frame side, but wouldn't mount to the tranny correctl. Or if you did get the bolt through it, it would probably have the tranny off by quite a bit.

Hmm I dont know because the manuel polly set that i got fits that mount and a few people told me that they were the same. I'll have to go over to my friends house later and look at his! In the mean time if anyone knows anything let me know! thanks

like I said, they are very similar, but the basically a mirror image of each other. So im sure your poly insert fit. I just had new auto and manual mounts side by side about 3 weeks ago.

Thanks for the info! I went over to my friends house and looked at his 91 gsx and found out that the hole is the same size in diameter, but your right it sits 1" lower than the auto mount! thanks for the help!
