Here are 2 Engine Build Cost Analysis Spreadsheets to use in estimating your costs to Build or Re-Build your motor.
All of the cells are changeable for your needs. If something isn't listed, add it to the next line after the last part already on the list.
DO NOT ALTER THE AMOUNT CELLS or it will goof up the spreadsheet. I advise SAVING it to your computer and renaming YOUR PERSONAL SHEET to a different name so you always have the original.
One sheet is as I was thinking of all the components needed and the other is of those parts all in Alphabetical Order.
It will automatically tally the cost at the bottom of the sheet (DON'T MESS WITH THAT CELL, IT IS AUTOMATED).
You can always come back here and grab the Blank Sheet again if you accidentally mess something up.
I hope this is helpful when the time comes to freshen up or rebuild your engine.
As ALWAYS, if you see something wrong, let me know and I will fix it or add it. I think I included parts for V-6 and V-8 engines also, just in case (since I use them).
Good Luck!
Marty

Edit: added a Head Build Estimate Sheet also.

WARNING.......THIS CAN SCARE THE HELL OUT OF YOU WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE BOTTOM NUMBER ROFL

Man I'll tell ya, it adds up quick but at least you get an idea of the final cost, and if you take things off to trim your budget, it will reflect the cost SAVINGS too.
I went back in and added a TIMING BELT (DUH) so if you have downloaded it, re-download it FYI and let me know of any discrepancies, please!
