About 2 weeks ago my car all of a sudden shut off on me and wouldn't turn back on! My safc 2 was telling me that the battery was completely drained and the radio was clicking like it was "coughning" and my voltage dropped to around 9v. i removed the battery and the alternator to have them tested and autozone told me they are like new! so i reinstalled the battery and alternator my car starts up but when i drive the car it starts to sputter n if i dont push it to a certain rpm it cuts off. It shows up again that everything is completely drained i have no clue what the problem can be. the terminals are clean there is mild corrosion on the leads that come of the positive side of the battery to the alternator but i dont believe thats the cause. Also i accidentily installed a larger fuse into my tail light fuse box and i am sure theres a short cause after that blew i started to have these problems but im not sure where to begin. The ECU? THE LEADS OF THE BATTERY? SOME ONE PLEASE HELP

You could have a bad ground somewhere. Check and clean all your conncetions for the battery and clean them. Make sure the battery connetions are tight and that you can't mave them.

As for the fuse, take that out and put in the correct one. They are made to blow at a certain point not to hurt nothing. Get it checked out as to why it's blowing. With a bigger one in there you could end up burning something and making a small problem into something larger.

Ok i will check to see if all the leads are free of acid i will clean everything 2morrow and make sure the battery bolts are tight and check to see if grounded. for the new alternator i made them give me a new one and i thought that was the problem cause the bearings were bad but even after installing it the car still dies like if im stalling its weird.

The fuse part is what im trying to figure out im thinking i made something that was small like my tail light fuse blowing it to something bigger cause i put the larger fuse in thats what im trying 2 figure out.
