93 mitsubishi diamante egr valve location on the engine. It’s a 3.0 and I found the egr valve solenoid on the fire wall. Does this car have a egr valve too?

These are rough diagrams, but it is stated that the EGR valve is underneath the throttle body.

Found out I don’t have a EGR valve. The car doesn’t have traction control. So it’s the bottom picture how it’s routed

I think it’s more about California versus Federal emissions than it is about having traction control, but why would you have an EGR solenoid and no EGR valve?

I’m not sure. The bottom picture is how it’s routed with the vacuum lines from the solenoid straight to the throttle body
