ECMlink ECU Swap and WBO2 + DSM Link Question

I am getting DSM link for my 97 GSX and I have a friend who drives 95 TSI AWD Talon. Since I am in need of EPROM chip I am just wondering if my friend can just give me his ECU and I get it socketed by DSM Link guys and give him my 97 GSX ECU on his stock talon? Would something like that work?

And also I heard DSM Link had WB02 tracking so all I would need is WB Sensor and a controller like LC-1 wideband kit has and hook it up to DSM Link?

I havent used DSMLink but Im sure it has a CAS inversion so that you can use his ECU in your 97, correct me if im wrong.
However, He will have to buy a 97-99 CAS sensor. The 95-96 use a CAS that is read off of the cam gear, while the 97-99 use a CAS that is driven by the intake cam on the transmission side of the engine(same location as the 1G's, but different part) or he would have to do a more complicated route and use the 1G CAS, kinda confusing because the car has the 95-96 sensor but the 97 ecu. Perhaps someone else can help on this. But basically it would be great for you and not as good for your friend, unless you pay him extra or w/e.

97-99 use an inverted CAS signal, diffrent then the 95-96. With Dsmlink you either order the chip with it inverted, or click the 'Invert-CAS' option in Dsmlink. You also need to flip-flop some plug wires. Your buddy will also need to take the CAS out and rotate it 180% along with changing the plugs around.

Dsmlink does not offer wideband tracking. It does support alot of diffrent widebands, but requires you to tap into one of the 0-5v sources (MDP, front o2, rear o2, Baro) if you are looking to log the wideband as a useable value.
