Alright i sent it off and after sweating over it cause i never got a tracking number and it took 10 days to get there this is what its going to cost me.

We have looked the ECU over and tested it on the bench. Unfortunately, the leakage on this ECU has really done some damage underneath the heat sink. We're estimating 80 minutes ($104) to repair. Given that it's a non-EPROM, it may not be worth that to you

That's slightly less than you'd pay for a used one from vendors, but it's worth checking the local junkyards. All of my junkyards are full of 1.8s. They already have your ecu, $100 isn't bad, provided they are reputable.

My local junkyards are the same way. Any time a 4g63t comes in it's instantly stripped of it's head, turbo, manifolds, bov, and injectors.
