Dealership will charge you a GRIP for a new ECU, I believe my buddy paid around $900 for his. Dont remember exactly, but it was outragiously high. Have you replaced the capacitors yet?

yugotdonkey has a eprom ecu for his 91 talon hed sell to you for about 350 or so.... PM him if your interested

If you take it to a random electronics repair place, you can expect to pay a hundred or more to have it fixed (5 bucks in parts, a hundred (or more) in labor).

A new ECU from your local Satan is going to run you 1100 bucks (I know, i just recently had to check.... it's outrageous)

There are a few guys on here that are skilled in the arts of ECU repair, so you could go through and start asking around to people and see what's the good word. I've been quoted anywhere from 50-150 bucks to get it done depending on the type of damage (that's including the possibility of having to ship your ECU)

You could also check your local junk yard- they'll charge you about 300 bucks though.

Check car-part.com

wow for that price you might as well just get the stand alone to replace it with ...im gonna have to def. look into gettin mine repaired i guess .. i still have to pull it out it seems that im having problems with the car flooding out when i go to start it .. which iv heard was the ecu can i get that confirmed ?

your caps could be leaking which can cause all sorts of problems-

On mine, the fuel pump would just suddenly shut off from time to time before it died.

Msg steve on here (his name is steve on the boards) He's the ECU guru from around these parts.
