I recently had a family friend replace my ecu in my 1990 laser RS, now the car barely runs and wont go any higher than 3200rpm, are there any places that reprogram them, or any suggestions on a problem i'm over looking

What year is the ecu from? More than likely pins 6 and 14 need swapped.

I believe id make sure its the right ecu first. For a 90 turbo.
