ECUflash ECU Flash using tactrix cable?

I plugged everything in and it connected to the ECU just fine. It said that it could read and save my ECU but cannot edit it which is obviously what I need to do. It says I need a new defintion which I have no idea how to do. It says developers only. The car is a 98 GSX. Help would be greatly appreciated

It might be a stupid question but... Do you have the jumper cable connected (flash port). You cannot flash without the 2.5mm flash plug connected. Wiggle it around if you have it connected.

Do you have both the flash port plug and ODBII plugged in? If you do, please remove the flash port and reseat it.
