so, i have a 1995 talon, currently it has a 7 bolt short block with a 1g head, it's running the 2g crank sensor, and a 1g green lid for the cam sensor... well, i have the dreaded random misfire problem. this issue may have been gone over, i've been searching, but i can't get a clear answer, and i'm running on no sleep.
so my question is, what do i have to do, to run a 98-99 ecu in a '95? and using ecuflash/evoscan, is there a way to get rid of the random misfire problem since i'm using the 1g cas?
i have a really nice set of hks cams, that aren't drilled to run the 2gb cam sensor, and i'm not pulling it and having it drilled.
i'm not switching to this, just to get rid of random misfire. it's a built motor car with a 60-1, so there's a need to tune it.
please don't turn this into a "get ecmlink" argument. this is not about link, it's about ecuflash
