So I'm having a hard time getting my 95 gsx started when its cold... (takes a few shots of starter fluid and cranking and reapeating to get it running) I'm thinkin its the coolant temp sensor for the ecu thats bad or maybe unplugged. Where is this thing? Pics would be appreciated or a detailed description... also if you have anymore ideas on what the prob could be the input would also be greatly appreciated! :thumb:

Hmmm lets see.... Its locater in your thermostat housing. If you follow your radiator hoses it should lead you to it. Its on the back side of the housing toward the passanger side. there is some 5/8 hose close to it that lead to the heater core. if you see 2 sensors; its the biggest one of the 2. the smaller one if for the coolant temperature gauge.

Located the coolant temp sensor and of course the wires got pulled apart when I dropped the trans out... soldered then back together and she fired right up! :hellyeah: Thanks again for all the help guys, now I can check this issue off the list :thumb:
