ECUflash ECU Compatibility (GSX -> Spyder)

I am fairly certain that I have bricked my ECU. I am in need of another for my 98 Spyder. I have my old tune saved, so I should be able to reflash everything back without an problems.

In looking for a replacement ECU, I see that ceddy suggests there is a difference between the Spyders and the coupes:

All DSM Turbo Ecus are compatible Flash wise.
A 98 ROM can be Flashed to a 99 Ecu, and vice versa.
Also a GST ROM can be Flashed to a GSX ECU, and vise versa.

98-99 Spyder Ecus are compatible Flash wise.
The only hardware difference with the Spyder Ecus, is the Fuel Pump Pin.
The Spyders output +5v to turn on the Fuel Pump Module.
While the DSM pull +12v to ground to turn on the Fuel Pump Relay.

Testing so far has revealed that all Ecus with the same PCB Code are compatible, Flash wise.
The Evo5/6 are not compatible(different PCB Code), and Flashing an Evo image to a DSM Ecu will brick it.

The way this is written, it's not clear. Can I flash my Spyders tune to a coupe and expect it to work, or will I be dealing with fuel pump module issues? Do I need an h8 ECU out of a spyder?

My concern was a hardware difference between the 4g36T coupe ECU and the 4g63T Spyder ECU. The way Ceddy has it written, it makes it sound as if the 4g63T Spyder ecu is different from the 4g63T coupe ECU.

I pulled my ECU out and apart. The case number is MD346675 - the same used in the coupe. I pulled the board and have JE331B156C imprinted, which is also identical to the coupe.

So, I've dispelled my doubt in the way Ceddy has his compatibility issue written. Based on the case and board number, the 98 4g63T Spyder and 98 4g63T Coupe use the same ECU. Presumably, Ceddy's reference to the compatibility issue is from the difference in ECUs between the 4g63T Coupe/Spyder and the 4g64 Spyder.

There is some clarity, but perhaps my findings may clear things up for folks in the future.

from what i can tell, by looking at both pinouts, the only difference b/t spyder and gsx are that the spyder is missing:

pin 3: Fuel Pressure Solenoid
pin 7: Engine/Transaxle General Control Torque Reduction Request Signal 1
pin 8: Fuel Pump Relay (not missing but need a FP Rewire Mod, goes to relay)

pin 43: Engine/Transaxle General Control Torque Reduction Request Signal 2
pin 46: Engine/Transaxle General Control Torque Execution Signal

pin 78: Knock Sensor (+)
pin 91: Park/Neutral Switch (originally Chassis Ground)

unless thats for the 4G64 Spyder, which in my case, will work for me
